Lucas and Ethan's 2nd Birthday Party

Lena went to her cousins' birthday party last weekend. Lucas and Ethan turned two! Here we are at the party. By the way, Lena is officially two months old today, May 13. We celebrated by going to a graduation party for Consuelo. It was great to see Consuelo and Shane in TX again.

For Mother's Day Todd took pictures of Lena while I was out. Isn't she cute? Scroll to the bottom to see Bradley helping out. Today we went to the doctor's office for her two-month check up. She's 13 lbs. and 7 oz. and 25 inches. She's in the 95th percentile for weight and in the 100th percentile for height. She's so healthy.

First Mother's Day

I'm so excited about our first Mother's Day. I went for my first run this morning since Lena was born. Todd is making brunch. We're having a nice day. Here is a video Todd shot a few days ago of Lena smiling and cooing.

Getting Ready

This weekend we went to the wedding of our good friends John and Nicole in Austin. Here we are at the hotel getting ready for the big night out. Lena is wearing a dress that my sister Sarah gave us and a special headband and matching flower by my friend Silla of Silla Soup, a fellow Etsy Dallas member. This was her first trip out of town and her first time to wear shoes (thanks to Todd's aunt Karen for the cute white shoes).

Mall-wise

In preparation for our trip to Austin this last weekend we took Lena to North Park Mall last Thursday. She did great! Here she is sleeping in the fitting rooms at Anthropologie (above) and sleeping in the food court (below). This was our first time to use the stroller. Pictures from our trip and the wedding are coming soon!

We found a great set of Charley Harper illustrated Alphabet Cards and floor puzzle for Lena at Anthropologie. Our friend Brian had a show of his illustrations a few years ago.
