Birthday: Cake and Presents

It finally happened! Lena turned one on Tuesday. This post is just photos of her cake and some presents. I'll post more photos of her cousins next. Attending: Gigi (Todd's mom), Todd, Anne, Lena, Karen, Allison, Sophie, Sarah, Lucas, Ethan, Jen, Hazel, Amanda, Sai, and Sigourney. It was cloudy and damp when we arrived, but it turned out to be a nice day. We had a white cake with lady bugs, Lena's favorite fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries), and juice or milk for the older kids.

Party #2

Lena turned one on Tuesday. The day before, on Monday, we had a little mini-party in the park with some baby friends. I brought cupcakes and we all played on the playground. The weather was beautiful. Lena really liked her cupcake and was patient with her birthday crown.

Before and after snack time we played on the swings and the slide with June, Max, and Elle.
